Cora Cervantes

Multimedia Journalist

I am part of the next generation of multimedia journalists that are platform agnostic, innovative, diverse, and passionate about storytelling in emerging spaces. I tackle complex issues.  I can tell complex stories in an accessible way for digital and broadcast mediums. I can engage in Spanish and English with local and national audiences.

My work has been published by NBC New York, NBC Latino, NPR's Latino USA, Al-Jazeera, Salon, and Narratively.

I was born in México and raised in  Los Angeles, CA.  I grew up surrounded by people of different backgrounds, languages, and cultures. This experience helped me to see and understand people and issues through many lenses.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Columbia University. I am currently a Master's degree candidate in Multimedia Journalism at New York University's  Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute.
